Board of Directors & Staff

The Texas Pork Producers Association is governed by a fifteen (15) member Board of Directors. Directors are elected be membership each year at the annual meeting to serve a three-year term. The Board of Directors is given specific duties to represent TPPA members, establish policy and manage affairs of the association, ensure proper accountability of business transactions, and provide for an annual financial audit. They elect officers of the association and approve an annual budget and program of work for which TPPA staff operates.

Colby Ferguson | Executive Director

Colby Ferguson has served as the Texas Pork Producers Association executive director since June 2023. Colby represents TPPA on issues in both Austin and Washington D.C. focusing on advocating and advancing a sustainable and profitable pork industry in Texas. He works closely with the National Pork Board and National Pork Producers Council to promote our industry. Before joining the team, Colby spent nearly 20 years in local and state government relations roles in Maryland. Colby is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.

Riley Reep | Director of Youth and Communications

Riley Reep has served as the director of youth and communications for the Texas Pork Producers Association since May 2022. In this role, she is responsible for communications efforts for the association, youth camps, scholarship programs, and assists in organizing association events. Riley also coordinates the Certified Texas Bred Registry and Texas Pork Junior Ambassador programs. Riley is a graduate of Texas Tech University.
