Primary Responsibilities

• Leads efforts and programs designed to promote pork consumption for consumers and domestic marketing
• Prioritizes work with the National Pork Board on the development and implementation of demand enhancement activities
• Manages statewide consumer-focused marketing partnerships and programs
• Develops consumer marketing materials, annual budgets for consumer programming, and potential grant proposals
• Participates in consumer events and activities such as educational events, promotional opportunities, and cooking demonstrations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

The individual should possess computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Teams. The individual should familiarize themselves with analyzing social media and advertising analytics through platforms such as Meta Business Suite.

Bonus Qualifications (but not required)

• Bilingual in both Spanish and English, with a good understanding of Hispanic culture
• Agriculture background
