Gestation Barn

A gestation barn is a facility used in pig farming to house pregnant sows, or female pigs. Sows spend their entire pregnancy, which lasts for approximately 114 days (3 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days), in a gestation barn before being moved to a farrowing barn to give birth.

Farrowing Barn

A farrowing barn is a specialized building for sows (mother pigs) to give birth and nurse their piglets in a clean, controlled, and safe environment.

Nursery Barn

A nursery barn is a specialized building for housing and caring for recently weaned pigs, providing a controlled and clean environment with feeding and water systems.
