Texas Pork Producers Association Welcomes Laura Jimenez as Consumer Marketing Specialist

LUBBOCK, Texas — The Texas Pork Producers Association (TPPA) is excited to announce the hiring of Laura Jimenez as its new Consumer Marketing Specialist. In this role, Jimenez will lead consumer-focused marketing initiatives designed to increase pork demand, strengthen related industry partnerships, and enhance the visibility of Texas pork across the state.

Jimenez brings a diverse background in agricultural communications, marketing, policy, and consumer outreach. She recently completed her Master of Science in Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University and has gained valuable experience through roles in the meat industry, agricultural advocacy organizations, and international agricultural trade programs.

As Consumer Marketing Specialist, Jimenez will work closely with the National Pork Board, industry partners, retailers, educators, and consumers to develop and implement strategic programs that promote pork’s nutritional benefits, versatility, and value. Her responsibilities will include managing consumer partnerships, coordinating promotional campaigns and events, developing educational resources, and supporting statewide efforts to increase pork consumption.

“We are excited to welcome Laura to our team,” said Colby Ferguson, Executive Director of TPPA. “Her passion for agriculture, experience, and understanding of consumer engagement make her an excellent addition to our organization. Being a high-population state, Laura’s role will help us connect with pork consumers across our state.”
