CTBR Breeder Directory
The Certified Texas Bred Registry is in the 15th year. Over the past 15 years the registry has allowed breeders to join together to promote Texas bred hogs and award over $210,000 in support of Texas 4-H and FFA members who buy their pigs. The CTBR Breeder Directory is a complete listing of breeders participating in the Certified Texas Bred Registry Program.
When you need a show pig for the 2012 show season, but Texas bred and always ask for the CTBR certificate! It could be worth extra premium money and awards!

2013 Spring Buyers Guide of Texas Show Pigs
The Texas Pork Producers Association is publishing a buyer’s guide to help you sell show pigs for the late summer and early fall shows. The Buyers Guide will be published and available May 1, 2013. This is not the Sales Trail in our magazine, and we will not include any pigs available after July 31, 2013. If you wish to advertise your farm you may do so by completing the form and returning it along with payment. In addition to being mailed out it will also be available on our web site and sent out through e-blast around the state during May 2013.
Two options to be in the Buyers Guide:
Breeder Listing: Will include Farm Name, Breeder Name, Address (full or partial), Phone Number, E-Mail Address, Breeds Offered, Dates Pigs are Available, & Number of Head. $10
Breeder Advertisement: The Breeder Listing PLUS a special ad highlighting your farm and pigs offering! $55. Example of Breeder Advertisement is below.
Who receives the Buyers Guide:
Ag Teachers, County Agents, TPPA Members and Interested Show Pig Buyers.

In keeping with tradition, the fall issue of the Texas Pork Producer magazine will feature the Texas Show Pig Sales Trail. This list of sales is known to be the most complete list of show pig sales in Texas during the fall. It serves as a buyers guide for many ag science teachers, county agents, swine project leaders and students looking for show pigs. We receive requests for up to 50 copies from some 4-H clubs and FFA chapters.To advertise your sale in the 2012 Texas Show Pig Sales Trail complete the form and return it to the TPPA office by July 18, 2012
